I used this double barb splicing thingy. Its made of brass. Can't remember the diameter at the moment. | |

I found steel reinforced hose that fit both the Subaru connector and the splice. | |

There we have it. No big deal. | |

This is the bottom of the VW charcoal canister. The tube connected to the bottom is one I added. 1/2" heater hose about 4 feet long.
